Veda is from CyberSpace Caracas, in the Venezuelan Galaxy. She was born in 1978 and known in the parralel world as Daniela Peña.

Veda has been involved in music since early age. In the early 90's she discovered electronic music. Her influences at the beginning were Industrial Techno.

After some time she found out about Hard Techno and got interest into mixing music. Her journey as DJ started in 1995. Veda mixed in that style for about 4 years.

While she was collaborating on "Cosmic Tribe" festival in 1998, she got inspired to initiate her psychonaut trips with music.

PsyTrance had reached her, it's now been since 1999 that Veda mixes psytrance. Now DJ Veda is concentrated on dark & night, to transform the environment with enigmatic atmospheres and connections with the universal magic.

She is and has been involved actively with her best energies in Psykomunity crew festivals, during the past years. Veda always creates cosmic trips through Alien's sounds in her dark and agressive mixes.

Veda is also creating music with Magnetica project along with Daniel Gonzalez aka DarkOhm. Together, they produce rhythmic, dark ambient atmospheres filled with originality and brain warping textures. Magnetica produces mainly chillout, IDM and Trip-Hop. This project, Magnetica, was born in 2007. They are also bringing a new psychedelic dimension from their experience in the dark psychedelic trance scene. Together, they also have a dark/night psychedelic trance project by the name of Polux.

As of today, Veda mixes for D-A-R-K Records (Canada), Night Oracle Records (Greece) and Psykomunity (Venezuela).

Besides her long involvement with music directly, Veda is also designer and backdrop painter under the name of ParaShakti. You can browse in the ParaShakti section to see her creations.
